Fishbiotic Sulfamethoxazole & Trimethoprim
NOTE: Antibiotics are NOT returnable
Unfortunately, we are no longer able to ship fish or bird antibiotics internationally. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Sulfamethoxazole and Trimethoprim combination is an antibiotic that works by eliminating the bacteria caused by many types of infections.
Uses: Infected Eyes, Fin or Tail Rot, Skin Ulcerations, Pop-Eye, Columnaris Disease, and Gill Disease.
Use one tablets per 10 gallons of water. Dissove the tablet by placing directly in the tank. This amount will dissolve rapidly and circulate through the water. Treatment in a hospital tank is recommended. Treat the tank every other day for a full 5 days (a minimum of 3 treatments is recommended). Repeat a full 5 day treatment after 3 days if necessary. To avoid stress to the fish due to oxygen dep[letion during treatment, use continuous filtration but remove the carbon filter since it will remove the antibiotic from the water by absorption.
